I had always been artistic as long as I can remember, I started by drawing and painting with my imagination as I was inspired by movies. Growing up my biggest inspiration became nature, and I developed an appreciation for wildlife from my father and grandfather. I had then focused on photo-realism and made it my goal. I started drawing wildlife scenes and landscapes, I then picking up photographing landscapes and photo editing. I took art in high school for four years. I worked in different areas and then I was then introduced to oil painting, the medium I was most anticipated to work with. I then focused more in oil painting and made it a goal to work on. I was a member of the National Arts Honors Society and became involved in class.

After high school I attended Bowling Green State University and received my Associate of Arts. I then transferred to The Ohio State University and became an art major. At Ohio State, I was introduced to a variety of art mediums and practices. I enrolled in painting, drawing, ceramics, graphic design, wood working, and glassblowing. I experimented with different techniques and art styles, and I learned about the contemporary art world. Film photography became very interesting to me, as I worked with a 35mm film camera and developed my pictures in the darkroom. I enjoyed working on the pottery wheel in ceramics, and learning about glass blowing and glass working. I also worked with abstract and realism painting and drawing. I then picked up a marketing internship, in which I photographed products for social media.

I graduated in 2024 with my Bachelor of Arts in Art. After my artistic journey this far, I know that nature is still my biggest inspiration and most meaningful subject to me. I have picked up on new skills and appreciations that I did not expect. I wish to keep growing as an artist and contribute to the artworld.
